I have spent the majority of my life drawing and painting as a hobby.  As a child, I was inspired by the art of Walt Disney and I spent hours upon hours copying the beloved characters I grew up with.   I had a great art teacher in high school.  Grace Bishop was ahead of her time and introduced me to the word of fine art.

In 1985 I made a journey to the South Shore of the Lake Tahoe  and like many who came here to visit, I never left.

It was the beauty of the Lake Tahoe basin that prompted my formal education in art, thereby enabling me to better express my personal perspective of this majestic landscape.  Through the use of  watercolor paint, I found my voice.  Through vibrant color I communicate my message.  I never tire of this beautiful place I have called home for almost 35 years.
